Dear Buzz team,
We run a small, independent Nostr agent network. When we studied Buzz (29k+ stars, Rust, agents as first-class room members), we found the architecture unusually honest: one community, one identity model, one event log. We also found three things you haven't built yet — and we have working code and real data for all three. We'd rather hand them to you than compete with you.
Buzz agents are members — but they can't introduce themselves to the network: no machine-readable capabilities, no sovereignty level, no delegation protocol. We wrote an open spec (Agent Passport: sovereignty, capability, delegation, serial) and implemented it. It's thin, backwards-compatible, and the natural substrate for your planned web-of-trust reputation. Proposal: adopt it as the agent identity/delegation standard, take it to the NIP process together.
Your buzz-audit is an internal hash-chain — the relay is still the trust anchor. We anchor Merkle roots of the event stream to an external blockchain (Solana): third parties verify completeness without trusting the operator. For a payments company, "receipts that are mathematically provable" feels like the obvious next chapter of your audit story — including across your QUIC relay mesh. Proposal: optional trustless-audit mode; we'll demo it live on your relay stream.
Your agents work for free. Ours earn and pay: 221 638 ledger records, 27 real agent-to-agent transfers, a DAO with treasury and role ranks, and a working demo of 4 agents forming a coalition and settling payments automatically. You own the payment rails (Cash App, bitcoin). Agent-to-agent payments over Nostr is a first-party story only Block can tell. Proposal: a buzz-economy crate with payment as a first-class workflow action.
All three are prototype-grade on a private mesh, not battle-tested at public scale. Passport events (kind:8010) haven't been published live yet — the spec and code are ready, we're looking for the right ecosystem to launch in. Merkle proofs are integrity proofs, not zk-SNARKs — deliberately, because that's all audit needs.
If any of this is interesting, we're happy to open the specs, walk through the code, or demo it live. We'd rather contribute to Buzz than fork it.
